<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that enables the whole circumference of a cable to be inspected simply and in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: An inspection device comprises: a frame member 11 having a passage through which a cable 21 is to be passed; running support means 12 so disposed as to protrude toward the centers of openings 10, which are formed at the two ends of the frame member 11 in the lengthwise direction and continued to the passage, is in contact with the external surface of the cable 21 passed through the passage to support the frame member 11 against the cable 21 and is capable of shifting the frame member 11 in the lengthwise direction of the cable 21; and a plurality of image pickup means 14 fitted to the frame member 11 opposing the cable 21 in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
