OPTICAL SCANNER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner and an image forming apparatus that can reuse optical system components and suppress increases in component management cost and manufacturing cost.

SOLUTION: An intermediate member 120 as a holding member for holding a collimator lens 52 has a cylindrical shape and is provided with three housing adhesion portions 121 projecting from an outer periphery at regular intervals on an outer peripheral surface. The intermediate member 120 includes two lens mounting portions as optical system component mounting portions on which the collimator lenses 52 having different outer diameter dimensions are mounted in an optical axis direction. An inner diameter of a first lens mounting portion 124 arranged on a side where the housing adhesion portions 121 are provided is smaller than that of a second lens mounting portion 125. The collimator lens 52 is adhered and fixed to the first lens mounting portion 124 or the second lens mounting portion 125 by an adhesive 122.
