RADIO RELAY DEVICE AND RADIO RELAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio relay device that can perform handover without interrupting data communication.

SOLUTION: A radio communication system is configured with an opposite device connected to a relay network and a radio relay device comprising a plurality of communication interfaces corresponding to respective multiple carrier networks having different IP address-schemes connected to the relay network. The radio relay device comprises: setting means for setting a plurality of virtual communication lines with the opposite device by means of each of the plurality of communication interfaces; selection means for selecting a virtual communication line from virtual communication lines; notification means for notifying the opposite device of the selected virtual communication line; and communication means for communicating with the opposite device with the use of the selected virtual communication line.
