<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus capable of manufacturing a rectangular wire terminal having stabilized quality while simplifying the processing and reducing the processing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a rectangular wire terminal having a predetermined shape by bending a rectangular wire 10 includes a step for cutting the rectangular wire 10 into a predetermined length, bending the ends on both sides of the rectangular wire thus cut by approximately 90° while fixing its center part by moving two bending blocks 3, 4 simultaneously in the directions opposite from each other so as to bend the rectangular wire thus cut in Z-shape in the same plane, and a step for forming the rectangular wire terminal by pushing the center part of the molding bent in Z-shape into an elongated hole 1c by means of a folding plate 5 thereby bending the molding in U-shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
