<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proofing composition having high vibration-damping properties for a wide range of temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration-proofing composition is prepared with a composition containing: olefin elastomer which is made from a chain olefin-cyclic olefin copolymer; and an olefin resin which is incompatible with the olefin elastomer and has a different glass transition temperature from that of the olefin elastomer. The olefin resin may be a cyclic olefin resin having a higher glass transition temperature than that of the olefin elastomer and/or a chain olefin resin having a lower glass transition temperature than that of the olefin elastomer. The glass transition temperature of the olefin elastomer may be 30°C or lower, and the difference of the glass transition temperature of the olefin elastomer from that of the olefin resin may be 10°C or larger. The ratio (weight ratio) of the olefin elastomer to the olefin resin may be as large as 98/2 to 50/50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
