METHOD FOR PRODUCING MODIFIED COAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the effective utilization of pulverized coal generated from raw material coal is strongly requested.

SOLUTION: The method includes: a first separation/recovery step S11 of separating and recovering pulverized coal 11a generated from low-grade coal 11; a drying step S12 of drying the low-grade coal 11 passing through the first separation/recovery step S11 to obtain dried coal 12; a pre-molding step S13 of molding the pulverized coal 11a recovered in the first separation/recovery step S11 to obtain pre-molded coal 13; a carbonization step S14 of carbonizing the dried coal 12 and the pre-molded coal 13 to obtain carbonized coal 14; and a normal molding step S15 of molding the carbonized coal 14 to obtain modified coal 15.
