An inverter (1) that is applied to a distributed power supply system (10) for connecting to a system bus (7) and that measures the system voltage (Vr) of the system bus (7), detects voltage drops in the system bus (7) on the basis of the measured system voltage (Vr), and, if a voltage drop is detected, increases the frequency of carrier waves, generates signal waves for controlling the output current (Iiv) of the inverter (1), compares the carrier waves and the signal waves, generates a gate signal (Gt), and performs power conversion using PWM control, on the basis of the generated gate signal (Gt).
