PURPOSE: An electronic document security/transmission/relay device and a method thereof are provided to prevent leakage of personal information by determining a transmission standard of an electronic document based on security standard of a receiver terminal. CONSTITUTION: A document receiving unit(211) receives an electronic document from a distributor terminal. A masking unit(212) searches for personal information in the electronic document by switching a character string consisting of personal information into a character string in a selected form. An image converting unit(213) converts an electronic document in which the personal information is masked into an image form. A storing unit stores the masked electronic document and the converted image. A security information requesting unit requests security level information about a receiver terminal. |
