<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation of shifting from a fully open state to a tilt state in a portable type electronic apparatus allowing a user to selectively set three states, i.e. a fully closed state where a first housing and a second housing are connected to each other and the surfaces of both the housings are exposed, the tilt state where the second housing is inclined to the first housing, and the fully open state where the surfaces of both the housings are exposed on a same plane. <P>SOLUTION: In the portable electronic apparatus according to the present invention, a first housing 1 and a second housing 2 includes a protrusion 10 and a recess 20 that are engaged with/disengaged from each other by approaching to/separating from each other in the fully opened state. The protrusion 10 and the recess 20 is formed with an engagement surface and an engagement receiving surface that restrict a relative movement in the direction orthogonal to the approaching/separating direction of both the housings in the engagement state, and, while separating both the housings from each other, allows a displacement of rotating the second housing to the inclined attitude in the tilt state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
