<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily open a metal wire material package made by packaging a metal wire material coiled into an annular bundle with a sheet of a packaging material without causing troubles or damaging the wire material. <P>SOLUTION: A cutting wire 5 made by knurling a soft steel wire is interposed between a bundle 2 of a metal wire material 3 and a packaging tape 4. With one end fixed removably to one of fastening bands 6, the cutting wire 5 is wound around a bundle 2 of the metal wire material 3 along the inner surface thereof to extract the other end (front end 5a) from a gap of a packaging material, so that only grabbing the vicinity of the front end 5a and pulling the cutting wire 5 causes the packaging tape 4 to break, thus opening a package without damaging the metal wire material 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
