<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify a polymer in a polymer solution by precipitating the same while controlling the decomposition of an acetal backbone in a method of manufacturing a polymer by copolymerizing at least a monomer having the acetal backbone, a monomer having a lactone ring, and a monomer having a polar group. <P>SOLUTION: Monomers having a polar group other than a hydroxyl group are used as monomers having a polar group, a polymer solution containing a polymer obtained by copolymerizing the monomers is mixed with an alcohol in which a water content is less than 10 mass% to precipitate the polymer in the polymer solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
