The base support (1) has a support structure that comprises a metal section (3) and a plastic section (2). The support structure is arranged along transverse direction with respect to longitudinal axis of vehicle. Several mounting holes (5) are provided in the metal section. A bumper covering is mounted on the plastic section using attachment sections (4). A connection section (7) of metal section is embedded into connection section (8) of plastic section.
