FLOATING DRUM FOR TRANSPORTING SUBMARINE CABLE AND SUBMARINE CABLE LANDING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A floating drum for transporting a submarine cable and a submarine cable landing method using the same are provided to minimize the friction between the drum and the cable by using a roller installed around the circumference of a frame. CONSTITUTION: A frame(110) is composed of a pair of horizontal members and a vertical member connecting the horizontal members. The horizontal member is the shape of a ring. A roller(120) is formed between the horizontal members using a rotary shaft. The roller is the shape of a cylinder. A float(130) is installed on the upper part of the frame.
