<p>PURPOSE: An air conditioner for the rack of a computer room is provided to improve cooling efficiency by partitioning the flow of hot air and cold air. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for the rack of a computer room comprises a cooling apparatus, a cold air outlet, an outside air inlet(17), a hot air outlet(18), an outside air exhaust apparatus(30), a case(10), and a sliding member. The cold air outlet is installed in the outlet portion of the evaporator of the air conditioner. The outside air inlet is installed in the lower portion of a rack for the inflow of outside air to the evaporator. The hot air outlet is lower portion of the rack. The outside air exhaust apparatus is installed in the back side of the rack and exhausts the air in the rack. The case comprises a freezing unit and comprises a pair of guide rails. The sliding member is coupled with the guide rails.</p> |
