OF THE DISCLOSUREA flood protection device includes at least two side posts and a pluralityof gate panels. The side posts are removably attached to mounting bars respectively mounted to walls of the building. Each of the side posts forms acoupling slot, inside which a waterproof strip and a retention member are arranged. The gate panels are received in the coupling slot of each side post and located between the waterproof strip and the retention member. Theplurality of gate panels is stacked between the two side posts in such a way that joint projections and the recesses formed in the gate panels are Fit to each other to form a wall banier of a predetermined height with the gate panels intight mutual-engagement between each other to thereby provide a water barrier of excellent water tightness and ensuring no water invasion.Figure 1
