<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid assembly for cold insulation container which is designed such that a cold insulation material is attached to a lid easily, the needs to increase the height of the lid and the thickness of the peripheral side of the lid or the thickness of the container body, are eliminated despite the configuration with the relatively large cold insulation material that prevents the time for which a stored article is stored cool from shortening, a simple configuration having no difficult-to-mold parts and free from an increase in the number of components can reduce manufacturing costs, and to provide cold insulation container. <P>SOLUTION: In the lid assembly A for the cold insulation container which is used for closing the lid of the container body 2 of the cold insulation container 1 and includes the lid 3 made of foam synthetic resin and the cold insulation material 4 supported by the lid 3, an engagement projecting part 5 is formed on the rear side 3A of the lid 3, and an engagement recess 7 engaging with the engagement projecting part 5 is formed in the cold insulation material 4.
