<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device in which leakage of white light is prevented without increasing the number of manufacturing steps in using a system of white organic EL elements and a color filter, and an electronic device having the organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: Metal wiring of a signal line 33, a power supply line 32, a gate electrode 221 of a drive transistor 22, an electrode 241 of a retention capacitor 24, a gate electrode 231 of a writing transistor 23, and the like is arranged so as to surround a light emission sections of the white organic EL elements 21<SB POS="POST">W</SB>and the color filter 74. The metal wiring functions as a shielding layer for shielding between filters of respective colors of the color filter 74.
