<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll for a hot-rolled steel strip winding device excellent in durability. <P>SOLUTION: A coating layer is formed on the surface of the roll which is a core material. The coating layer has a composition containing, in mass%, C: 0.50-0.65% and Cr: 11.5-12.5% so that Cr/C satisfies 19.0-24.5, further containing Si: 0.3-1.0%, Mn: 0.5-3.0%, Ni: 0.05% or less, and further containing two or more elements out of Nb, Mo, V, W by 4-6% in total. Thus, the roll for a hot-rolled steel strip winding device can be obtained which suppresses the generation of surface defects caused by corrosion or seizure, can prevent the generation of exfoliation and the like, can stably withstand a long-period use, has both seizure resistance and corrosion resistance, and is excellent in durability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
