<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular periphery monitoring device composed by optimizing display/non-display of a detection frame of a detected mobile object in accordance with a display visual field range. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular periphery monitoring device includes: an imaging part (camera) 12 for acquiring a shot image around a vehicle; a mobile object detection part 52 for detecting a mobile object based on the shot image; a detection frame generation part 54 for generating a detection frame surrounding the mobile object detected by the mobile object detection part 52; a display part 30; and a display processing part 56 for displaying the display frame on the display part 30 by being superposed on the shot image; wherein the display processing part 56 changes over display of the detection frame to non-display thereof and vice verse in accordance with changeover of a display visual field range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
