<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmission device with high efficiency achieved by reducing loss in use of an AC-DC converter. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact power transmission device includes: an AC-DC converter 10 that converts an AC voltage AC to a DC voltage Vi and output the converted voltage; a drive circuit 21 to which an output of the AC-DC converter 10 is supplied; a power transmission coil 22 to which AC power with a predetermined frequency is supplied from the drive circuit 21; a power reception coil 31 to which electric power is transmitted from the power transmission coil 22 contactlessly using electromagnetic induction; and a detection circuit 33 that detects an output voltage Vo obtained by rectifying a voltage induced to the power reception coil 31.
