The present invention provides a housing structure that has excellent assemblability and maintainability and that is less likely to cause disengagement when dropped. An information terminal includes: a front-surface-side housing member that has a pair of sections to be clamped along two opposing sides, i.e., the top and bottom or the left and right, of the front surface of the device, the sections to be clamped extending along the side direction; a back-surface-side housing member that has a pair of sections to be clamped corresponding to the sections to be clamped of the front-surface-side housing member, and that houses an internal structure in conjunction with the front-surface-side housing member; a pair of frame members that retains, in a sandwiched state, the sections to be clamped of the front-surface-side housing member and the sections to be clamped of the back-surface-side housing member; a first lock mechanism that is locked by sliding the frame members along the side direction after the frame members have been pressed onto the sections to be clamped; and a second lock mechanism that prevents the frame members from moving after said lock.
