<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device in which, while a light emitting rod with a light reflecting layer part provided for reflecting the light from the LED in an axial direction of the light emitting rod and guiding it in the axial direction is used, entire circumferential directions can be irradiated almost uniformly. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lighting device is provided with a plurality of translucent light emitting rods 4A-4D which guide light from LEDs from one end part to the inside and light reflecting layer parts 3A-3D which are arranged respectively in each of the light emitting rods 4A-4D in an axial direction and repeats light reflections of the light from the LED and guides it in the axial direction to make the whole in the axial direction perform light emission.
