<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code information reading device capable of identifying a position of code information by only reading the code information regardless of a distance between a device body and the code information as a reading target. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 acquires distance information by an automatic focus function of an image scanner 16, position information and altitude information by a GPS part 17 and direction information by a geomagnetic sensor 18. Based on the distance information, the position information, the altitude information and the direction information, the CPU calculates the position information of a reading target (e.g. a two-dimensional code and a one-dimensional code). Based on the calculated position information of the code information, the CPU searches for a shelf information table M3 so as to read a corresponding "shelf address" from the shelf information table M3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
