<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel detection apparatus which is capable of discriminating not only a fuel level but also a fuel property, that is a fuel material. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel detection apparatus includes a fuel property detection unit (1) installed inside a fuel tank for detecting a fuel property by measuring an electrostatic capacitance that is varied in accordance with the fuel property, a fuel level detection unit (2) installed inside the fuel tank for detecting a fuel level by measuring the electrostatic capacitance that is varied in accordance with the fuel level, and signal processing units (5-9) for processing output of the fuel property detection unit (1) and output of the fuel level detection unit (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
