<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that keeps vibration of a reflection mirror low over a wide range of frequencies, and thereby stably provides high optical performance. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanner comprises: a deflector that deflects a light beam emitted from a light source; an imaging lens that converts the light beam deflected by the deflector into constant velocity scanning light; and scan line curvature correction means for accommodating a reflection mirror that reflects the constant velocity scanning light and guides the light to a photoreceptor, elastically supporting both ends in the main scan direction of the reflection mirror to the housing via a sheet metal stay 35, and deforming the shape of the reflection mirror to correct the curvature of a scan line.
