<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a planar electrothermal heater preventing a wasteful use of heat radiation energy from both ends of the heater having a long heater wire disposed therein. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a planar electrothermal heater includes the steps of: disposing a heater wire 2 having a plurality of nearly U-shaped folded portions 2a alternately provided for folding to both sides of a nearly whole surface of the inside excluding a peripheral portion having an optional width on a top face of a lower fabric 1B, and a plurality of nearly linear portions 2b nearly parallel to each other, for connecting the folded portions 2a in both sides; forming fixing portions 3 by overlapping an upper fabric 1A with the lower fabric 1B having the heater wire 2 disposed therein, and fixing the fabric A to the fabric B along the nearly linear portions 2b inside the plurality of folded portions 2a alternately provided in both sides of the heater wire 2; and fixing a sealing portion 3a for enclosing the outside of the plurality of folded portions 2a in both sides of the heater wire 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
