<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a scratch on a surface of a bottom cover caused by friction between the bottom cover and a lower housing part (a bottom chassis) when a tray is moved into or out from a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device comprises: a rail 8 for holding a tray 3 so as to be movable into or out from a housing 2; and a rail guide 9 attached to a bottom chassis 2b of the housing, for movably holding the rail 8. The rail guide 9 is substantially U-shaped in a cross section orthogonal to a traveling direction of the rail 8, and includes a protrusion 10 at one part of a bottom surface which comes in contact with the rail 8. The protrusion 10 is formed at a front side end region of the housing, in the rail guide 9, and the rail 8 runs onto the protrusion 10 of the rail guide 9 when the tray 3 is pulled out from the housing 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
