The unit has webs (15) formed at two opposite longitudinal sides of a support plate (1). The longitudinal sides are extended in direction of a line. Distance between an edge of one of sensor elements (4) and the other sensor element facing an inner side of the webs corresponds to half of an extension of the sensor element in transverse direction when the webs are viewed in perpendicular direction. The distance corresponds to maximum of three times the dimension of the sensor element in the transverse direction when the support plate is in plan view.
