The steering gear arrangement for a motor vehicle, has a steering gear (1) and a switchable bearing (2) between a hard identifier and a soft identifier. The bearing is continuously switched between a hard and a soft identifier. The bearing is arranged at axle or sub frame for connecting the steering gear on one axle or sub frame. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a methods for specific interaction of the self-steering behavior of a motor vehicle by a steering gear arrangement; (2) a switchable bearing with an identifier that is set according to a vehicle characteristic parameter or driving state; and (3) a method for connecting a steering gear of a motor vehicle to a front axle of the motor vehicle.
