The invention relates to a metering valve for a pressurized vessel, including a valve body (100), straight through which a vertical channel (103) extends, a first metering chamber (108) and a second metering chamber (109) being provided in the valve body, each metering chamber leading, via access means (111, 112) located at the same height, into a different angular sector of the vertical channel of the valve body. The valve also includes a valve stem (200) arranged inside the valve body, the valve stem (200) being provided with an outlet channel (202, 204), one end of which leads onto the upper surface of the valve stem and the other end of which leads onto the side surface thereof, thereby forming an inlet opening, wherein the valve stem is capable of moving between an upper position and a lower position. A means (400) is provided for pivoting the valve stem (200) about a vertical axis. When the valve stem is in the upper position, each metering chamber (108, 109) is in contact with the lower end of the vertical channel (103) of the valve body while the inlet opening of the outlet channel (204) of the valve stem is isolated from the metering chambers and from the lower end of the vertical channel (103). In a first series of positions of the valve stem, and when the valve stem is in the lower position, the access means (111) of one of the metering chambers (108) is in contact with the inlet opening of the outlet channel (204), while said chamber (108) and the inlet opening of the outlet channel (204) are isolated from the other metering chamber (109) and from the lower end of the vertical channel (103). In a second series of positions of the valve stem, and when the valve stem is in the lower position, the access means (111, 112) of both metering chambers (108, 109) are in contact with the inlet opening of the outlet channel (204) while said chambers (108, 109) and the inlet opening of the outlet channel (204) are isolated from the lower end of the vertical channel (103).
