<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more inexpensively a piezoelectric material containing K<SB POS="POST">x</SB>Na<SB POS="POST">(1-x)</SB>NbO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>as a base material, which is environment-friendly and excellent in piezoelectric characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: This piezoelectric material contains a compound represented by general formula K<SB POS="POST">x</SB>Na<SB POS="POST">(1-x)</SB>NbO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>as a main component under the condition of 0.1≤x≤0.7. Further, ≤10 mol% Cu oxide and ≥1.0 to ≤20 mol% BaTiO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>are added to the piezoelectric material, and furthermore ≥0.1 to ≤10 wt.% glass is preferably added thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
