BACKUP METHOD, RESTORATION METHOD AND DUPLEX SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex system without necessity of a storage device for backup.

SOLUTION: When backup is performed, a backup unit 12 of a first information processing device 1 generates a first backup file F1 that includes all storage contents of a second storage unit 21 and a first storage unit 11 stores the file. Then, a backup unit 22 of a second information processing device 2 generates a second backup file F2 that includes all storage contents of the first storage unit 11 and the second storage unit 21 stores the file. When restoration is performed, a restoration unit 23 reads out the second backup file F2 to restore the first storage unit 11 from the second backup file F2. Then, a restoration unit 13 reads out the first backup file F1 to restore the second storage unit 21 from the first backup file F1.
