<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that properly reduces density unevenness of multiple kinds of images having different densities. <P>SOLUTION: A toner image of a first image pattern is formed on an intermediate transfer belt 1. A first image formation condition is determined on the basis of the result of detecting the density of the toner image. Toner image forming means is controlled on the basis of the first image formation condition. A toner image of a second image pattern different from the first image pattern is formed on the intermediate transfer belt 1. A second image formation condition is determined on the basis of the result of detecting the density of the toner image.
