<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounted coil which eliminates the needs of bundling and special forming of coil terminals even when the wire diameter of the coil is increased and enables secure and easy connection between the coil terminals and surface mounted terminals and secure mounting to a substrate surface, which has a small size and a large current capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In a coil component 8, an outer periphery of an annular magnetic body core is covered by a core cover formed by an insulation layer divided into two regions by a partition wall, and the coil is wound around the two regions. The coil component 8 is housed in an insulation base 2, and coil terminals 61, 62, 71, 72 are connected with surface mounted terminals 3, each of which has a rectangular mounting part disposed on a bottom surface of the insulation base 2 and a first connection terminal and a second connection terminal that are disposed on an upper surface of the insulation base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
