<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a pulse Doppler radar fails in detection of a target signal by the reduction in S/N of a detection object because an unnecessary wave is generated in a frequency direction on the same range as a target due to a disturbing wave received from the target and JEM (Jet Engine Modulation) during target detection and tracking in CFAR processing and enters into a noise region for use in CFAR processing. <P>SOLUTION: The noise region for use in CFAR processing is set in a position offset in a range direction not to capture, into the noise region, an unnecessary wave due to a specific disturbing wave generated on the same range as the target signal and JEM. Therefore, an S/N of the detection object can be correctly detected, so that the target signal can be stably detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
