<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem in a conventional network system with a plurality of redundant layer 2 networks: when a fault exists in a transmission route which executes broadcast transfer processing of frame data, unnecessary traffic due to flooding occurs and hence the quality of communication lines in networks is worsened. <P>SOLUTION: A network monitoring apparatus is installed to monitor a fault status in a transmission route on a network, and the connection operation of a broadcast switch device is controlled if a fault occurs, thereby suppressing generation of unnecessary flooding operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
