<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate not only the fitting of connectors but also the unplugging of a connector in the mating condition, and to facilitate the fitting and the unplugging of connectors regardless of the arrangement place or the position of the connectors. <P>SOLUTION: A cam 32 has a first aperture 32a and a second aperture 32b formed on one and the other sides thereof and having inside diameters larger than the outside diameter of the large-diameter portion 29 of a protrusion 28, and a cam groove 32d has a groove width smaller than the outside diameter of the large-diameter portion 29 of a protrusion 28. When a fitting auxiliary tool 300 is rotated about a protrusion 18 inserted into a shaft hole 31, the cam groove 32d presses the outer peripheral surface of the protrusion 28.
