PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road expansion joint fixed with impact-cushioning material on both-side fingers with comb teeth-shaped tips opposed to each other across a joint gap, which absorbs a pressing force during expansion or contraction of the fingers due to change in atmospheric temperature and minute vibration during vehicle passage, so that the transmission to the end of a pavement part is inhibited.
SOLUTION: A sidewall projecting from an impact-cushioning material is disposed along an external wall surface of the tip and the rear end of fingers and fixed to the external wall surface. A tapered eave having a top face flush with the impact-cushioning material and a tilted bottom face extends from the rear end of the impact-cushioning material and overlaps on a pavement part for bonding.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
