<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device that can properly control a clamping force to be exerted using an electromagnet. <P>SOLUTION: The clamping device for exerting the clamping force by the electromagnet includes: a first current command generating unit for generating a current command to be given to the electromagnet according to a target clamping force; a clamping force detecting unit for detecting the clamping force exerted by the electromagnet; and a second current command generating unit for generating a correction command for correcting the current command according to a detected value of the clamping force detected by the clamping force detecting unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
