<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meandering prevention device in which a strip after slit is stabilized at a transport line center side without hurting an edge of the strip or using a complex control system, and that enables stability rolling at non-stationary rolling like tail end rolling after cutting. <P>SOLUTION: In a transport line in which a strip is slit in two lines to be rolled by a pinch roll, the pinch roll includes: a lower roll 12 supporting a lower surface of the slit strip; and at least one upper roll 11 contacting with an upper surface of the slit strip. A centering roll 3 is provided which contacts with the slit strip and make the slit strip approach to a line center side at a position of a line upstream side from the pinch roll. Furthermore a center guide 1 is provided which guides a line center side edge of the slit strip locating in a nip and/or a nip neighborhood pinched by the lower roll and the upper roll of the pinch roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
