<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a doctor to easily detect a region equivalent to "architectural disturbance" in breast images. <P>SOLUTION: According to a CPU 11 of an image diagnosis support device 10, breast regions are extracted from a pair of right-left breast images respectively, line structures in the detected breast regions are detected, a plurality of ROIs (region of interest) are set in the extracted breast regions, and the set ROIs are classified depending on patterns in the direction of line structure, respectively.
