The invention relates to electrical conductors, in particular to those having low and ultralow resistance values within an extended range of operational temperatures, i.e. superconductors. According to the first aspect of invention, the method for producing an electric conductor consists in carrying out M series of measurements of the electric resistance of current-conducting elements, wherein M is a natural number, in each i-th series (i=1...M) the current-conducting elements are of the same type and their number is equal to Ni, in selecting, on the basis of the measuring results, an j-th sample from Nj of the same type elements, in which the lowest resistance value amongst all of the tested elements is detected and, subsequently, in connecting in parallel R=Nj of the current-conducting elements, each of which has the length L=l, wherein lis the length of the elements in the j-th sample. According to the second aspect of invention, the inventive electric current conductor comprises R of the same type current-conducting elements, which have the length L and are connected in parallel, wherein R=Nj, Nj being the number of elements in the j-th sample selected on the basis of the measuring results of the M series of measurements of the electric resistance of the current-conducting elements, wherein M is a natural number, in each i-th series (i=1...M) the current-conducting elements are of the same type, said j-th series is selected on the basis of the presence of the current-conducting element having the lowest resistance value, wherein L=l, and lis the length of elements in the j-th sample. Said invention makes it possible to produce electrical conductors having low and ultralow resistance values. |
