<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus that structurally simply and inexpensively attains DC voltage fluctuation suppression and input harmonic current reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion apparatus includes: a capacitor connected in parallel with output ends of an AC-DC power conversion apparatus; a voltage control means for generating a voltage control signal to implement a specified DC voltage value; a load power estimation means for computing a load power value from an AC power value at input ends and a charge/discharge power value of charging/discharging of the capacitor; an adder for adding the load power value computed by the load power estimation means to the voltage control signal to generate a current control signal; and a current control means for generating a switching control signal for a switching element to keep an AC voltage and an AC current in phase from the current control signal generated by the adder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
