<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent irreversible demagnetization of ends of permanent magnets on an outer circumferential side of a rotor core in a rotary electric machine where the permanent magnets are provided in the rotor core so as to extend radially. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 100 (rotary electric machine) includes: a rotor core 22; a stator core 11 that is arranged so as to face an outer circumference of the rotor core 22; and permanent magnets 23a and 23b that are provided in the rotor core 22 so as to extend radially. The permanent magnets 23a and 23b are formed in such a manner that respective circumferential widths thereof become gradually larger from an inner circumference of the rotor core 22 toward the outer circumference of the rotor core 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
