RECORDING MEDIUM WITH SOFTWARE APPLICATION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling whether a software application loaded from a removable recording medium and executed on a player for the medium should be continuously executed or ended when the removable medium is taken out.

SOLUTION: In the method of executing the software application in a reproducing device for audio/video data, data for the software application to be executed in the reproducing device is read out of a first removable recording medium. The data includes an indication defining an end condition for the application. The application is ended or continued based upon the end condition and further depending upon how the medium stored with the application is taken out.
