<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus performing print settings that is capable of performing print settings in association with setting items that are not displayed on a print setting dialog started up by an application and preventing inconsistency between the print settings. <P>SOLUTION: A user setting creation part 313 eliminates conflicts between print settings corresponding to a printer 200 to generate user settings and stores the user settings of which identification information is associated with a PPD file, in a user setting storage file 311. An application 301 displays the print settings in the PPD file 310 and the identification information of the user settings on a print setting dialog. When the identification information is selected, the application 301 provides the identification information to a PS filter program 306, and the PS filter program 306 performs print settings by using the user settings associated with the identification information in the user setting storage file 311. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
