<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that can reduce development manhours, while preventing deterioration of steering feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control means 30 of the electric power steering device 10 includes a first control means for controlling steering torque detected by a torque detecting means 50 to become zero or a first predetermined value, and a second control means for controlling the steering torque detected by the torque detecting means 50 to become zero or a second predetermined value larger than the first predetermined value based on an operation quantity detected by an operation quantity detecting means 52 or a vehicle behavior quantity detected by a vehicle behavior detecting means 130.
