<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a power supply harmonic wave caused by motor voltage distortion according to a motor operating state. <P>SOLUTION: A power converter, including switching elements (Su, Sv, Sw, Sx, Sy, Sz), converts input AC power supplied from an AC power supply (6) to output AC power with predetermined voltage and frequency and supplies the power to a connected motor (7). The power converter includes: a control section (5) for controlling switching operations of switching elements (Su, Sv, Sw, Sx, Sy, Sz); a capacitor (3a) for smoothing ripple generated by switching the switching elements (Su, Sv, Sw, Sx, Sy, Sz); a current control section (53) for controlling an electric current running through the motor (7); and a voltage distortion compensation section (54) for detecting a harmonic wave component caused by motor power distortion and superimposing a compensation value (vd_h, vq_h) on an output of the current control section (53) according to a value of the harmonic wave component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
