<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensing part cap which can be efficiently attached to a housing when an electronic clinical thermometer is mechanically assembled. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic clinical thermometer 100 includes: a thermistor 10 having a temperature sensing part 11; a housing 50 which has a hollow space and arranges the thermistor 10 in the hollow space; and a temperature sensing part cap 15 which is provided at the tip side of the housing 50 and accommodates the temperature sensing part 11. The housing 50 includes a housing 51 and a housing 52 which forms the hollow space by joining with the housing 51. The temperature sensing part cap 15 includes a base part 15M attached to the housing 52 and a lid part 15N attached to the housing 51. The base part 15M is provided with an open part 15H which is open to the side of the housing 51 and a tip part 15S which is formed in a spherical shape swelling towards the tip of the housing 50.
