The drawframe has individually driven galettes (G) arranged together with a bearing and a drive motor in separate units (E) such that the separate units are connected with additional identically configured units to rolling mills (1, 2) over connection units. The separate units include a bearing wall (L), which rotatably supports the galettes, and is connected with additional bearing walls of additional units by fastening units. The drive motor is attached to the galettes facing away from the bearing wall. The drive motor is designed as an asynchronous drive motor.
